Hello everyone!
Check out your tip of the week PLUS two inspiring quotes and three questions to ask yourself and others.
1 Smart Tip
Increase your political influence:
When talking with someone who thinks you’re wrong, show your vulnerability by admitting your own shortcomings and fears. Once you do, they’ll see you as less threatening, begin to trust you, and lower their defenses as well.
Here’s how I like to show vulnerability:
Admit I’ve been wrong before
Acknowledge that my experience is limited
Share my fear they’ll think badly of me due to my beliefs
What about you? How do you earn trust during political conversations?
